The Pella Public Library will continue its Culture Night Series with the South American country of Colombia today. The program is presented by Jennifer Rodriguez. Colombia is the second most biodiverse country in the world, with large numbers of birds, mammals, amphibians, plants, and butterflies. It is the only country in South America with coastlines along both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and has diverse regions, such as plains, Amazon rainforest and the Andes mountain range. A presentation will be given about the history, culture and geography of the country. Culture Night: Colombia will take place this evening at 7 p.m. in Room 206 of the Pella Community Center at 712 Union St. This program is free and open to the public.
