The City of Indianola’s wastewater treatment facility is moving forward, after the Warren County Board of Adjustment approved a special use permit in October. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the project is called the “Indianola Water Resource Recovery Facility,” and tells KNIA News the city council has passed two action items at their most recent meeting, including a public hearing about an application for a loan from the state, and putting together the bid documents for building the facility. Waller said the bids are expected to be received from contractors in January.
