Warren County Conservation is hosting an event with Indianola Parks and Rec later this month, educating kids and families on the importance of the under appreciated critters in the area. A Warren County Conservation Board Naturalist will be present to highlight local animals and insects, including why the opossum deserves a little credit for what they do for the environment, and why insects should get a “thank you.” The event will take place on November 19th, and is free and open to the public.
