The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics has announced a record breaking $23,500 of proceeds was raised at this year’s Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation Gala. According to the hospital another record was also broken with 210 people attending this year’s event. This year’s gala featured an 80’s theme that allowed attendees to dress in their best 80’s attire. Dr. Earl McKeever was also awarded the McKeever Award of Excellence for the 2nd time, an award that was named after the long time Knoxville Hospital and Clinic Physician who retired this past Thursday from the hospital after 56 years of service to the community.
