The 2019 Tulip Queen and Royal Court after the Queen's Announcement Party in Nov. 2018

A new Tulip Queen and Royal Court will be crowned this weekend. Lori Lourens with the Tulip Time Steering Committee says the annual Tulip Queen’s Announcement Party will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Pella Christian High School. The five girls chosen by a panel of judges out of the 12 finalists will represent Pella over the next several months ahead of the 85th Tulip Time in May 2020. Tickets are available at Pella Historical Society through the end of the week, and the event will be aired live on 92.1 KRLS.
