
Knoxville’s Katie Keitges made it official yesterday by signing a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Keitges had several division one offers over the last year, but tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she felt most at home at UNO.Her four years at Knoxville has been highlighted by getting the 1,000 point barrier last season and is less than 300 points away from becoming the all-time leading scorer in girls basketball for the Panthers. Keitges says it was over summer where she gained confidence and knew she could be a division one player. Keitges senior season of basketball will begin November 26th against PCM.
