Knoxville Football Coach Eric Kellar has relied on his staff for assistance throughout the season. After this season was over he nominated assistant Coach Chris Hudson for the class 3A Assistant Coach of the Year. Hudson along with Steve Schable, an assistant coach from Carroll, will receive the 3A Assistant Coach of the Year Award during next Thursday’s class 3A state title game. Kellar tells KRLS Sports, Hudson is always prepared for every practice and game, and he is lucky to have him around. Hudson has spent most of the last 24 years with the Knoxville Football Program in some capacity as a volunteer assistant to head coach.
