After a close loss to start the season against Bethany Lutheran, the Simpson Storm men’s basketball team evened out their record and picked up their first win of the season in a big way, taking down Faith Baptist 122-73. The Storm made 17 three point shots and shot 53% from long range to get up early and stay ahead for the entire contest, getting a 60-44 lead at halftime then watching it explode in half two. Kyle Wagner led the way with 18 points, while Adam Reiter grabbed 8 rebounds, and Conor Riordan had 8 dimes. The Storm are now 1-1, and will next play Fontbonne today in the A-R-C/SLIAC (St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) Classic in Storm Lake.
