The annual KNIA/KRLS Christmas Food Drive kicked off over the weekend at the Pella Hy-Vee. The Big Red Radio was at the store Friday and Saturday as 92.1 KRLS partnered with Hy-Vee to collect food and donations for the Pella Food Shelf, with the store providing a match to funds raised during weekend sales. Melissa Zula with the Pella Food Shelf says their pantry is busier than ever, with more than 100 families coming for needed food and supplies on a weekly basis.
