The Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame has recently announced the Class of 2020. The 2020 class includes Brian Hiemstra, class of 1996, a defensive back for the Panthers who was named second Team All-State as a junior, and first Team all State his senior season. Mike Stults from class of 1994 was a four year standout in cross country and track who was a three time All-State runner in cross country, finishing as state runner-up in his senior year. Stults was also a state champion in the 800 meter run in his junior season. Elizabeth (Haning) Hadler from the class of 1984, earned All-State honors in volleyball for two years, and was a state place winner in tennis. Graham Fee from the class of 1957, was a three year starter at quarterback for the Panthers, leading them to a 9-0 record in 1954, and is best known to Knoxville fans as the “Voice of the Panthers,” having spent 42 years as the public address announcer at Ken Locke Stadium. The Class of 2020 will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during induction ceremonies on Friday January 17th in between the Knoxville vs. Clarke basketball games at the Knoxville High School Gym.
