The Pella City Council will hold a public hearing to consider rezoning a previously approved housing development at their meeting this evening. An ordinance under consideration would change the terms of a planned unit development with Harvest Investments for new housing that was approved in 2018. The revised project would include a $5.8 million housing cooperative with 22 single-family homes, with a clubhouse including meeting space, exercise facilities, and pickleball courts.

Council will also consider altering rental fees for the Pella Memorial Building and updating tournament fees at the Pella Sports Park to accommodate the two new fields under construction. Amendments to the Pella Airport operators lease and management agreement with Classic Aviation are also resolutions on the agenda.

The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. this evening in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
