Despite not running at the state meet in her freshman campaign, Indianola’s Emily Naughton is poised to continue her success in track and in the future cross country seasons. Head Coach Kim Arndt tells KNIA Sports running in competitive meets, including the track season this spring, will just continue to build the resume. Naughton was ill the night before the state meet, but went into the competition with the 5th fastest time in class 4A from the qualifying meet.
