The football season is over for most Division III college teams, and for PCM alumnus Reed Worth, the first season of college sports has come and gone.

Worth turned out to be a major role player for the Simpson football team down the stretch, and did so in a position he had not previously played. After wide receiver Joe McNally was injured early in the season, the freshman quarterback got the call to step into the receiver role to contribute. He says he didn’t know what to expect coming into the season, but was excited to be able to help the team with his talents.

With the graduation of quarterback Tanner Krueger, the window is open for Worth to battle for the starting job next season. He finished with 26 receptions for 320 yards and a touchdown in his freshman season.
