The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Walnut Hill Designs located at 207 East Main Street in Knoxville Friday morning. The ribbon cutting celebrated the grand opening of the new embroidery and retail shop owned by Michelle and Dave Doty. Michelle tells KNIA/KRLS News she turned the corner and saw the sign for rent in the window and knew that she had to open her store. She says her and her husband Dave did a lot of praying on it and God said it was time to move. Michelle says shes is beyond excited to be the light of Christ in the town as well as excited to do all the embroidery and designing for people. She says she finally knows what she wants to be when she grows up. Light refreshments were served and store tours were given. Michelle also took time to demonstrate her embroidery machine.
