The Knoxville Optimists Club’s annual Angel Giving Tree is now up at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville. The tree holds stockings with what gifts local families would like for Christmas. Anyone interested in participating can pick a stocking from the tree with an age, gender and the gift the person has requested. Participants can then return the gift wrapped present back to the Coffee Connection with the stocking attached to the gift by Friday, December 13th. The Knoxville Optimists Club is wanting to help at least six local families that are struggling to have a merry Christmas. The families on the Angel Giving Tree will also receive holiday food baskets from the club. For more information contact the Knoxville Optimist Club.
