The season tips off for real for the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad tonight as PCM comes to town. The Mustangs have already had a game played with Saturday’s win over Chariton. The Panthers played in a Pride Game last Thursday and lost to Ottumwa by six points. Knoxville’s go-to will be Katie Keitges, but Coach Jim Uitermarkt wants more players to contribute and may have to involve a few freshmen as four of them are on the varsity roster this season. The Mustangs will counter with Regan Freeland, who put up 23 points in the win over Chariton on Saturday. Tip off is scheduled for eight at Knoxville Gym.
