Tomorrow is Black Friday, widely regarded as the start of the Christmas season and the biggest shopping day of the year. President and CEO of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce Brenda Easter tells KNIA News shopping online has a lot of great deals, but shopping locally can be a huge benefit to Indianola, even if you shop at some of the bigger stores in the area such as Wal Mart or Theisens. The chamber is also preparing for Small Business Saturday, which encourages shoppers to stay local and shop at area businesses. The KNIA Big Red Radio will be on the square during Shop Local Saturday, playing holiday music.
