An active weather weekend is in the forecast, but travel impacts should remain low locally. According to the National Weather Service, a slight chance of ice accumulation is in the forecast late this evening, with some spots possibly being slick through Friday morning.

Chances for rain return Friday and continue off and on through most of the weekend. More significant winter-like precipitation is possible in the northwest half of the state this weekend.
