William Jewell College junior forward and former Pella Lady Dutch basketball starter Kiara Bradley has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball. Against Lincoln, she scored a career-high 36 points, surpassing her previous career-best of 29, also against Lincoln, and giving her 65 total in two career games against the Blue Tigers. Additionally, she added six rebounds, three assists, and a career-high five steals while shooting 62 percent from the field, including going 6-for-10 from behind the three point line. In the deciding third quarter, Bradley posted 10 points, two steals and two assists to help turn a five point deficit into a 19-point lead to help lead the Cardinals to the 87-72 win. This is the second weekly honor of Bradley’s career after earning her first in December 2018.
