With the cold weather of winter here, Warren County Emergency Management wants to remind residents to be as prepared as possible during the winter months. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News you should always keep warm clothes such as a jacket, hat, gloves, and boots in your car, in addition to a blanket, a flashlight, and food such as a granola or energy bar. Bass also says if you are stuck in your car during a snowstorm, to keep a window cracked and your exhaust tailpipe clear to make sure you can breathe safely.
