A former Pella volleyball standout earned her first collegiate award this past week. Emily Holterhaus is a starter with the Missouri Valley Conference regular season champion UNI Panthers, and was named to the conference’s All-Freshman Team. Holterhaus finished the regular season with a .208 hitting percentage. Holterhaus recorded a 16 solo blocks and 44 block assists on top of her 188 kills. The Panthers will play for the Missouri Valley Conference tournament championship today in Cedar Falls at 4 p.m.
