During the most recent Knoxville School Board meeting the newly elected board was updated by Chris Nichols and Kevin Kincaid with the Facilities Planning Task Force about the current five year facilities plan for the district. Knoxville School’s Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News the task force wanted to make sure the new board was up to date on all the information regarding the proposed projects and more information will be coming soon for the voters in Knoxville. Pearson says the district knows people are busy during the holiday season so to make sure voters are the most informed, the district will provide more information about the upcoming projects after the holiday season. In addition to updating the board, the task force also presented rough draft concepts of how the high school and West Elementary campus will look with the addition of the new middle school.
