As 2019 comes to an end the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is preparing and planning for 2020 and beyond. Currently the Chamber is continuing to plan and budget for 2020 as well as working towards their 10 year visions for Knoxville. According to the Chamber’s 10 year vision the Chamber would like to be considered the most important resource for existing and potential businesses in the Knoxville area as well as to contribute to Knoxville resident’s quality of life through a vibrant business community. Businesses in Knoxville will understand the importance and have the routine of engaging with the Chamber of Commerce regularly and the Chamber will become the tourism sales arm of the community. Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, Hannah Vander Veer tells KNIA/KRLS News in order for the Chamber to accomplish their goals they would like to focus more on marketing and communications. Vander Veer says in order to do so the Chamber is currently looking for a full time Communications and Marketing Coordinator to help conduct bigger and better promotions for local businesses to take advantage of. Anyone interested in applying for thea Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the Chamber must apply by Friday, December 20th to be considered.
