With 20 games remaining in the boys basketball season, plenty remains to be determined between now and the postseason in February. But after earning a hard-fought victory over a quality Class 3A team, the Pella Christian basketball team has only more confidence that this year could be special.

Senior Ryan Vande Haar, who hit the game-winning buzzer beater Tuesday, says he and the large class of 2020 feel like this season could be one to remember, especially with the experience, depth, and talent returning from a substate finalist in 2019.

Pella Christian only hit three shots from beyond the arc defeating a guard heavy ADM team, and an even-more talented, fast-paced squad awaits Friday night as they head to Pella High School, who dropped 97 points in their opener Tuesday.
