The Pella City Council modified an ordinance at their meeting this week that would expand the types of businesses that sell alcohol that minors are allowed to be in. Assistant City Administrator Corey Goodenow says the ordinance adopted by the council this week allows those younger than 21 to be in any business that has less than half of their sales in alcohol, regardless of what the other half includes. The only exception is microbreweries, which had a separate code update approved last year. Hear more about this week’s Pella City Council meeting on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
