The PCM basketball teams will open up Heart of Iowa Conference play this evening, hitting the road to Saydel. The PCM girls will enter the contest on eight days of rest, having played their last game on November 26th at Knoxville. The 1-1 Mustangs will look to start conference play on a high note against an Eagle team that has stumbled to an 0-3 start.

The PCM boys have high hopes for the season, and will try to move to 2-0 after opening with a road win over Knoxville. Saydel is also 1-0 after beating Coon Rapids-Bayard in Tuesday’s opener.

Tonight’s doubleheader will be broadcast on the KRLS3 stream, with Jon Mohwinkle calling the action. Pregame coverage begins at 5:45, with the opening tipoff at 6:00.
