Pella Community Ambulance has hired Justin Smith as the new Assistant Director. Justin has worked part-time for Pella Ambulance the last 18 months on his off days from his full-time job as the Workforce Department Head at Adult & Teen Challenge of the Midlands in Colfax. Director Greg Higginbotham says Smith is moving to a larger role to accommodate growth of staff within the service. Smith has also previously served as the EMS Captain for Colfax Fire & EMS. Justin is married to his wife Rebecca, who is a Veterinarian in the Colfax area. Justin will be full-time in Pella starting January 1, 2020.
