Knoxville is back in action tonight at Clarke after sitting out the first round of the conference season. Tonight should be a memorable night in the career of one of the greatest to ever wear black and gold. Katie Keitges is just 13 points away from becoming the all-time leading scorer in Knoxville history. The record is currently held by Sam Abens, who graduated in 2010. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KRLS Sports, Keitges has not talked about the record that much, as her focus has been on winning and team success.

Uitermarkt:
“When you do bring it up to her, she does as you said shrugs her shoulders and that’s awesome because the main thing in Katie’s mind when she steps on the floor is to win. If we can do that while setting some records along the way, that’s just a bonus for us.”

The boys have been waiting for another game since losing their season opener to PCM last Tuesday. Coach Jeff Larson wants to guys to be all on the same page defensively tonight. Both Clarke and Knoxville boys are looking for their first win of the season. You can hear the action on 95.3 KNIA starting with the pregame at 6:15.
