Another Central student-athlete has earned Athlete of the Week honors from the American Rivers Conference. 133-pound wrestler Shandon Akeo has earned the honor after going 5-0 in his matches last week. He was also named the conference’s wrestler of the week.

Akeo won the individual title in his weight class at Saturday’s Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational, where he also was named the most outstanding wrestler.

Akeo and the Dutch wrestlers will close out the 2019 portion of the schedule Thursday evening, hosting Nebraska Wesleyan in an American Rivers Conference duel.
