This weekend is the last opportunity for the residents in Pleasantville and the surrounding area to take part in Pleasantville’s annual Christmas in the Park event. The event began last weekend, and will continue today and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. People will have the opportunity to enjoy light displays and holiday decorations as they drive through Cora Shadle Memorial Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the shelter house tomorrow from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m as well. Everyone is invited to stop by to get a picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus and to decorate a cookie to take home. Visitors will be able to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee, and listen to carolers from local churches sing holiday favorites.
