With the cold winter weather here, Warren County Emergency Management wants to remind residents to be as prepared as possible to stay safe during a winter event. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News if you are stuck in your car or forced to pull over during a snowstorm/blizzard event, you should keep a window cracked open and your exhaust tailpipe clear to make sure you are breathing safely. Bass also suggests keeping warm weather clothes such as a hat, gloves, or boots in your car, as well as a blanket.
