The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session tomorrow. The council will consider approval of an intergovernmental transfer of a public funds agreement between the Iowa Department of Human Services and Ground Emergency Medical Transportation Provider. The agreement is necessary to provide the non-federal share of the reconciled cost reimbursement amount for the uncompensated Medicaid cost associated with Ground Emergency Medical Transportation services. They will consider a resolution establishing certain fees and charges for Parks and Recreation Services regarding a 3% fee increase every year to keep up with increased expenses and wages. The increases would take effect January 1, 2020. The council will also receive a preliminary budget presentation from Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams.
