The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening. The council will administer the oath of office to the council members elected in November, Heather Hulen, Gwen Schroder, and John Parker, and they will officially take part in meetings in 2020. The council will consider the re-application of a development plan from Kading Properties for the Cavitt Creek Condominiums, after a previous plan was rejected by the council in October. The council will consider a resolution appointing Andrew Lent as City Clerk, Indianola Hometown Pride Committee and Parks and Recreation Commission nominees, resolutions honoring the service of Councilwoman Shirley Clark and Councilman Joe Gezel for serving on the council, discuss the Indianola Water Resource Recovery Facility Project, and consider a request for a community clean-up day among other items. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers in Indianola City Hall.
