The Knoxville School Board held a special legislative work session Thursday evening. The school board invited State Senator Amy Sinclair and State Representative Jon Thorup to the session to answer questions as well as give their perspective on the upcoming legislative session. Areas of emphasis discussed during the session included funding, at risk students, mental health and the seat belts on new school bus requirements.
