Colorado Senator Michael Bennet held an event at West Hill Brewing Company in Indianola Sunday, meeting with potential caucus goers. Bennet discussed balancing the moderate and progressive wings of the Democratic Party, the deficit, immigration, and climate change. Bennet tells KNIA News the conversations he’s been having on the campaign haven’t changed since his last visit to Indianola in the summer.

“I started out today much like I did the other visit I had because that’s what I think is so important. People are working really hard but they can’t afford housing, healthcare, higher education, or early childhood education. I have the plans that can address those issues and the climate issues, and not just unify the Democrats but bring back the 9 million people that voted twice for Barack Obama and once for Donald Trump.”
