Pella Historical Society and Museums will soon be closed for a winter break. Executive Director Valerie Van Kooten says those who would like to experience their Christmas village displays and other exhibits have until December 30th to do so. Van Kooten says during the offseason, many preparations are underway for the upcoming Tulip Time celebration in May, and many displays are also updated for the coming year. Additionally, Van Kooten encourages the community to sign up for their Windmill Winterim classes and presentations taking place throughout the month of January.
