As 2019 comes to an end the Knoxville Community School District continues to strive to be a leader in 21st century learning. The district continues to establish local partnerships to enhance the learning opportunities for students. Partnerships include working with local colleges according to Knoxville School’s Superintendent Cassi Pearson. Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News in 2019 the district 173 students received at least one college credit and in total students completed 1,423 total college credits and their parents did not have to pay a dime.
