Those dreaming of a White Christmas are out of luck again this year, continuing a long stretch of no snow on December 25th. According to the National Weather Service, the last time there was at least an inch of snow on the ground in central Iowa for Christmas was in 2013. Meteorologist Andrew Ansorge with the National Weather Service says there’s a 40-50 percent chance for a White Christmas each year, according to climate data. Above average warmth with dry conditions will likely continue through Friday evening. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
