The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board approved the Marion County Official Employee 2020 Holiday Resolution approving the county’s official 2020 holidays. They  approved a salary increase for the Marion County Veteran’s Affairs Director from $28,406 to $41,000 based off of recommendations from the Marion County Veteran’s Affairs Commissioners. The board held a discussion regarding moving the Marion County General Assistance Directors position to Marion County Public Health to better assist the people of Marion County. Following the discussion the board approved the move to Marion County Public Health and appointed Kim Dorn as Marion County General Assistance Director. The board also gave board of supervisor updates.
