As the calendar year wraps up, the Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad looks to the 2020 portion of the schedule seeking its first win of the season. The Sabers finished the pre-holiday part of their slate 0-7. Much of the time spent during practice the last couple of weeks have been taking care of the basketball and knowing what is going on defensively. Coach Blake McWilliams tells KRLS Sports he hopes they can take steps forward before the season resumes.

McWilliams:
“Just making sure we take steps in the right direction as far as not turning the ball over and making sure we know our defensive assignments, our rotations defensively, and making sure we work as a team, and not get too caught up on our own stats.”

The Sabers take on Lamoni on Tuesday January seventh when the season resumes.
