Pella Christian swept Pella in the Tulip City bowling showdown Saturday at Excit-a-Bowl. The Eagles boys won 2332-2252 and the girls topped the Lady Dutch 1776-1663. Pella Christian’s Kenyon Gettings had the highest two-game score of 366, followed by Austin Van Kooten’s 334. Pella was led by 336 from Reid Miller and Travis Ware. Aundrea Steen led the Eagles with 260 in the girls match, followed by Cheyanne Collins and her 257. Pella’s Sierra Vander Weert was the highest scoring girl at 296. Pella’s bowlers return to action at home against Knoxville this Saturday, while Pella Christian will head to Sigourney that same day.
