The third and final Chris Street Memorial Basketball tournament of the season will take place Saturday, raising money for the Indianola Athletics Booster Club. Club President Andy Leech tells KNIA News the tournament serves as one of the biggest sources of funding for the booster club, which all goes back to the students.

“Our mission is solely focuses on the student athletes. Our goal is that every dollar we earn from concession stands or our different fundraising efforts go back to the athletes and the athletic programs at both the Indianola High School and Middle School.”

The tournaments have been held since 1974, and the games will be held in the Blake Fieldhouse and Indianola Middle School.
