The Pleasantville Trojans will host a West Central Conference hardwood showdown tonight as the Woodward-Granger Hawks visit Pleasantville. The Pleasantville girls will look to get back into the win column and above .500 as the Trojans have dropped a pair of heartbreaking losses by four to I-35 on Friday and by five to Albia on Saturday. The task could be tough however for the Trojans as Woodward-Granger comes into tonight’s match up 7-1 on the year and winners of their last six games.

On the boy’s side, the Trojans are also looking to get back into the win column after falling to Aliba on Saturday. The Woodward-Granger Hawks, like their girls team is also 7-1 on the year and winners of their past six games. If Pleasantville hopes to sneak out a victory they will need to slow down senior Bryce Achenbach for the Hawks who comes into tonight’s contest leading the team in points, rebounds and assists per game.
