The Knoxville Recreation Center will conduct a special Strength Workshop beginning Monday, February 3rd through Thursday, February 27th. Wellness Supervisor for the Recreation Center, Angela Jones tells KNIA/KRLS News instructors will teach participants how to lift weights properly, gain muscle and get healthy. She says after people complete the workshop they will be equipped with four workouts they will be able to sustain on their own. The workshop is a 16 session workshop and will be held Monday through Thursday from 5:10 a.m. to 6:10 a.m. and is $99 for members. Non-members can purchase a one month membership to participate. A minimum of 10 participants is needed for the workshop to be held. The deadline to register is Monday, January 27th. A second Strength Workshop will also be held in April for anyone who can not attend the February workshop. For more information contact the Knoxville Recreation Center.
