The Twin Cedars Basketball Squads split against Tri-County on Thursday night with the girls falling 33-31 and the boys getting their first win of the season 58-42. It was a rather rough night for the girls as they led for most of the game, but missed free throws throughout, going 14/31 from the line. Brooke Roby led the Sabers with 17 points. The boys were led by Devin Arkema with 17 points and Zack Peterson with 11. Coach Blake McWilliams told KRLS Sports it was the best all-around game his team has played this season. Both Twin Cedars squads will take the weekend off before hosting Diagonal on Tuesday.
