The Pella Public Library is continuing Conversations in Spanish, a popular program started last summer as an opportunity for those wanting to improve their Spanish skills, or for fluent speakers to converse, with the goal of promoting learning through conversation. Native and non-native Spanish speakers are invited to gather for casual conversation in Spanish. This is for individuals who have at least a basic to intermediate understanding of the Spanish language. There is no curriculum or classroom-style learning involved. Residents are invited to come to practice speaking about food, family, flowers, and more. The next sessions will be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 29th at 11 a.m. Conversations in Spanish gatherings are free and open to the public and will be held in the Pella Library’s Meeting Room unless otherwise noted.
