melcher-dallas-3

Despite starting off 1-4 through their first 5 games the Melcher-Dallas saints have been able to put some wins together going 4-2 through the second half of the season and get their record to 5-6. They won they won their first game back from break against Murray and followed that with a close road loss to Seymour, who they took into triple overtime a few weeks ago although they ended up losing.

Head Coach Kelsey Goff says if the break had any effect on the team it was probably shooting.

“I think it’s our shooting that’s been a little bit slow coming back, down at Seymour our shots just weren’t falling there think when we came out at the end of the first quarter the score was 4-2, so just kind of that lull of coming back from break is I think would be our shooting but otherwise I think our defense, pressure, and intensity did not stop over break.”

The Saints will be back in the court on Tuesday to take on Orient-Macksburg with tip off at 6pm.
