The Pella School Board will hold its first meeting of the new year today. The board will review course proposals for the next academic year, including Spanish V, intro into early childhood education, as well as practicum for that program, and emergency care for early childhood. The board will also consider discontinuing a sharing agreement for a transportation director with Knoxville, review the modified supplement for At-Risk dropout prevention, and appoint members to the Marion and Mahaska COunty Conference Boards. During a work session, the board will review Superintendent Greg Ebeling’s performance and discuss the teacher salary schedule, as well as review goals for the upcoming year. The Pella School Board meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
