Central College invites the public to tour the Traveling True Black History Museum this week. The “Tribute to the African-American” Journey will be open on Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Maytag Center BMW rooms. The exhibit takes visitors on a journey through articfacts from Transatlantic slave trade, to slavery, the American Civil War, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, and the Civil Rights movement through the modern day, and highlights contributions in the arts, sciences, education, politics, and sports from African Americans. The Traveling True Black History Museum is free and open to the public.
