Knoxville’s 12th annual best in the nation Coaches vs Cancer event is tomorrow. A special ceremony will be held between the girls and boys basketball games with Chariton, at which time the major donations received for the event will be revealed as well as a chance to celebrate the survivors and honor those lost to cancer. Alumni basketball games and a special silent auction are held throughout the day to help raise funds for the event as well. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be at the event throughout the day broadcasting live, playing music and making announcements. The Knoxville girls basketball game with Chariton is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and the doubleheader can be heard live on 95.3 KNIA.
